  7:1   4012-1161 περί δε But concerning 3739 ων what 1125 εγράψατέ you wrote 1473 μοι to me; 2570 καλόν It is good 444 ανθρώπω for a man 1135 γυναικός [²a woman 3361-680 μη άπτεσθαι ¹to not touch].   7:2   1223-1161 διά δε But because of 3588 τας the 4202 πορνείας harlotries, 1538 έκαστος [²each man 3588 την   1438 εαυτού ⁴his own 1135 γυναίκα ⁵wife 2192 εχέτω ¹let ³have], 2532 και and 1538 εκάστη [²each woman 3588 τον   2398 ίδιον ⁴her own 435 άνδρα ⁵husband 2192 εχέτω ¹let ³have]!   7:3   3588 τη [⁵to the 1135 γυναικί ⁶wife 3588 ο ²the 435 ανήρ ³husband 3588 την ⁷the 3784 οφειλομένην ⁹owed 2133 εύνοιαν ⁸good-will 591 αποδιδότω ¹Let ⁴render], 3668-1161 ομοίως δε and in like manner 2532 και also 3588 η the 1135 γυνή wife 3588 τω to the 435 ανδρί husband!   7:14   37 ηγίασται [⁵is sanctified 1063 γαρ ¹For 3588 ο   435 ανήρ ⁴husband 3588 ο ²the 571 άπιστος ³unbelieving] 1722 εν by 3588 τη the 1135 γυναικί wife; 2532 και and 37 ηγίασται [⁴is sanctified 3588 η   1135 γυνή ³wife 3588 η ¹the 571 άπιστος ²unbelieving] 1722 εν by 3588 τω the 435 ανδρί husband; 1893 επεί since 686 άρα then 3588 τα   5043-1473 τέκνα υμών your children 169-1510.2.3 ακάθαρτά εστι are unclean, 3568-1161 νυν δε but now 39-1510.2.3 άγιά εστιν it is holy.   7:15   1487-1161 ει δε But if 3588 ο the 571 άπιστος unbeliever 5563 χωρίζεται separates, 5563 χωριζέσθω let him be separated! 3756 ου [³is not 1402 δεδούλωται ⁴enslaved 3588 ο ¹the 80 αδελφός ²brother], 2228 η or 3588 η the 79 αδελφή sister 1722 εν in 3588 τοις   5108 τοιούτοις such cases. 1722-1161 εν δε But in 1515 ειρήνη peace 2564 κέκληκεν [²has called 1473 ημάς ³us 3588 ο   2316 θεός ¹God].   7:16   5100-1063 τι γαρ For what 1492 οίδας do you know, 1135 γύναι O wife, 1487 ει if 3588 τον [²the 435 άνδρα ³husband 4982 σώσεις ¹you shall deliver]? 2228 η Or 5100 τι what 1492 οίδας do you know, 435 άνερ O husband, 1487 ει if 3588 την [²the 1135 γυναίκα ³wife 4982 σώσεις ¹you shall deliver]?   7:17   1508 ει μη Except 1538 εκάστω to each 5613 ως as 3307-3588-2316 εμέρισεν ο θεός God portioned, 1538 έκαστον each 5613 ως as 2564 κέκληκεν [³called 3588 ο ¹the 2962 κύριος ²Lord] 3779 ούτω so 4043 περιπατείτω walk! 2532 και And 3779 ούτως so 1722 εν in 3588 ταις [²the 1577 εκκλησίαις ³assemblies 3956 πάσαις ¹all] 1299 διατάσσομαι I set an order.   7:18   4059 περιτετμημένος [³while being circumcised 5100 τις ¹Who 2564 εκλήθη ²is called], 3361 μη let him not 1986 επισπάσθω become uncircumcised! 1722 εν [³in 203 ακροβυστία ⁴uncircumcision 5100 τις ¹Who 2564 εκλήθη ²is called], 3361 μη let him not 4059 περιτεμνέσθω be circumcised!   7:19   3588 η   4061 περιτομή Circumcision 3762-1510.2.3 ουδέν εστι is nothing, 2532 και and 3588 η   203 ακροβυστία uncircumcision 3762-1510.2.3 ουδέν εστιν is nothing, 235 αλλά but 5084 τήρησις keeping 1785 εντολών the commandments 2316 θεού of God is.   7:20   1538 έκαστος Each 1722 εν in 3588 τη the 2821 κλήσει calling 3739 η in which 2564 εκλήθη he was called -- 1722 εν in 3778 ταύτη this 3306 μενέτω let him abide!   7:21   1401 δούλος A slave 2564 εκλήθης being called -- 3361 μη let it not 1473-3199 σοι μελέτω be a care; 235 αλλ΄ but 1487 ει if 2532 και even 1410 δύνασαι you are able 1658 ελεύθερος [²free 1096 γενέσθαι ¹to be] 3123 μάλλον rather -- 5530 χρήσαι use it!   7:22   3588-1063 ο γαρ For the 1722 εν [³in 2962 κυρίω ⁴the Lord 2564 κληθείς ²being called 1401 δούλος ¹slave 558 απελεύθερος ⁷freedman 2962 κυρίου ⁶the Lord's 1510.2.3 εστίν ⁵is]. 3668 ομοίως In like manner 2532 και also 3588 ο the 1658 ελεύθερος free one 2564 κληθείς being called, 1401 δούλός [³slave 1510.2.3 εστι ¹is 5547 χριστού ²Christ's].   7:23   5092 τιμής With value 59 ηγοράσθητε you were bought; 3361 μη do not 1096 γίνεσθε become 1401 δούλοι slaves 444 ανθρώπων of men!   7:24   1538 έκαστος Each 1722 εν in 3739 ω which 2564 εκλήθη he was called, 80 αδελφοί brethren, 1722 εν in 3778 τούτω this 3306 μενέτω abide 3844 παρά with 2316 θεώ God!   7:25   4012-1161 περί δε And concerning 3588 των the 3933 παρθένων virgins, 2003 επιταγήν [³a command 2962 κυρίου ⁴of the Lord 3756 ουκ ¹I do not 2192 έχω ²have], 1106-1161 γνώμην δε but an opinion 1325 δίδωμι I give 5613 ως as 1653 ηλεημένος one being shown mercy 5259 υπό by 2962 κυρίου the Lord 4103-1510.1 πιστός είναι to be trustworthy.   7:26   3543 νομίζω I think 3767 ούν then 3778 τούτο this 2570 καλόν [²is good 5224 υπάρχειν ¹existing] 1223 διά because of 3588 την the 1764 ενεστώσαν present 318 ανάγκην necessity, 3754 ότι that 2570 καλόν it is good 444 ανθρώπω for a man 3588 το   3779 ούτως so 1510.1 είναι to be.   7:27   1210 δέδεσαι Have you been tied 1135 γυναικί to a wife, 3361 μη do not 2212 ζήτει seek 3080 λύσιν a loosening! 3089 λέλυσαι Have you been untied 575 από from 1135 γυναικός a wife, 3361 μη do not 2212 ζήτει seek 1135 γυναίκα a wife!   7:28   1437-1161 εάν δε But if 2532 και also 1060 γήμης you should marry, 3756-264 ουχ ήμαρτες you sinned not; 2532 και and 1437 εάν if 1060 γήμη [³should have married 3588 η ¹the 3933 παρθένος ²virgin] 3756 ουχ she did not 264 ήμαρτε sin; 2347-1161 θλίψιν δε but affliction 3588 τη in the 4561 σαρκί flesh 2192 έξουσιν [²shall have 3588 οι   5108 τοιούτοι ¹such]. 1473-1161 εγώ δε But I 1473-5339 υμών φείδομαι spare you.   7:29   3778-1161 τούτο δε But this 5346 φημι I say, 80 αδελφοί brethren, 3588 ο the 2540 καιρός [²time 4958 συνεσταλμένος ⁴wrapping up 3588 το   3062 λοιπόν ¹remaining 1510.2.3 εστιν ³is], 2443 ίνα that 2532 και also 3588 οι the ones 2192 έχοντες having 1135 γυναίκας wives, 5613 ως [²as 3361 μη ³not 2192 έχοντες ⁴having 1510.3 ώσι ¹should be].   7:30   2532 και And 3588 οι the ones 2799 κλαίοντες weeping, 5613 ως as 3361 μη not 2799 κλαίοντες weeping; 2532 και and 3588 οι the ones 5463 χαίροντες rejoicing, 5613 ως as 3361 μη not 5463 χαίροντες rejoicing; 2532 και and 3588 οι the ones 59 αγοράζοντες buying, 5613 ως as 3361 μη not 2722 κατέχοντες holding possessions.   7:31   2532 και And 3588 οι the ones 5530 χρώμενοι dealing 3588 τω in 2889-3778 κόσμω τούτω this world, 5613 ως as 3361 μη not 2710 καταχρώμενοι abusing it. 3855 παράγει [⁵passes by 1063 γαρ ¹For 3588 το ²the 4976 σχήμα ³condition 3588 του   2889-3778 κόσμου τούτου ⁴of this world].   7:32   2309-1161 θέλω δε But I want 1473 υμάς you 275-1510.1 αμερίμνους είναι to be free from care. 3588 ο The 22 άγαμος unmarried 3309 μεριμνά is anxious for 3588 τα the things 3588 του of the 2962 κυρίου Lord, 4459 πως how 700 αρέσει he is pleasing 3588 τω to the 2962 κυρίω Lord;   7:33   3588-1161 ο δε but the one 1060 γαμήσας married 3309 μεριμνά is anxious for 3588 τα the things 3588 του of the 2889 κόσμου world, 4459 πως how 700 αρέσει he pleases 3588 τη the 1135 γυναικί wife.   7:34   3307 μεμέρισται [⁶are assigned a part 2532 και ⁷even 3588 η ¹The 1135 γυνή ²wife 2532 και ³and 3588 η ⁴the 3933 παρθένος ⁵virgin]. 3588 η The 22 άγαμος unmarried 3309 μερίμνα is anxious for 3588 τα the things 3588 του of the 2962 κυρίου Lord, 2443 ίνα that 1510.3 η she might be 39 αγία holy, 2532 και both 4983 σώματι in body 2532 και and 4151 πνεύματι in spirit; 3588-1161 η δε but she 1060 γαμήσασα having married 3309 μεριμνά is anxious for 3588 τα the things 3588 του of the 2889 κόσμου world, 4459 πως how 700 αρέσει she shall please 3588 τω the 435 ανδρί husband.   7:35   3778-1161 τούτο δε But this 4314 προς for 3588 το   1473-1473 υμών αυτών your own 4851 συμφέρον advantage 3004 λέγω I speak, 3756 ουχ not 2443 ίνα that 1029 βρόχον [²a noose 1473-1911 υμίν επιβάλω ¹I should put] around you, 235 αλλά but 4314 προς [²to 3588 το ³the 2158 εύσχημον ⁴decent 2532 και ⁵and 2145 ευπρόσεδρον ⁶well-occupied thing 3588 τω ⁷with the 2962 κυρίω ⁸Lord 563 απερισπάστως ¹be undisturbed].   7:36   1487-1161 ει δε But if 5100 τις anyone 807 ασχημονείν [²to be disgraced 1909 επί ³over 3588 την   3933-1473 παρθένον αυτού ⁴his virgin 3543 νομίζει ¹thinks], 1437 εάν if 1510.3 η she should be 5230 υπέρακμος advanced in years, 2532 και and 3779 ούτως so 3784 οφείλει it ought 1096 γίνεσθαι to be 3739 ο what 2309 θέλει he wants 4160 ποιείτω to do, 3756 ουχ he does not 264 αμαρτάνει sin; 1060 γαμείτωσαν let them marry!   7:37   3739-1161 ος δε But the one who 2476 έστηκεν stands 1476 εδραίος settled 1722 εν in 3588 τη the 2588 καρδία heart, 3361 μη not 2192 έχων having 318 ανάγκην necessity, 1849 εξουσίαν [³authority 1161 δε ¹but 2192 έχει ²has] 4012 περί concerning 3588-2398 του ιδίου his own 2307 θελήματος will, 2532 και and 3778 τούτο this 2919 κέκρικεν he has judged 1722 εν in 3588 τη   2588-1473 καρδία αυτού his heart, 3588 του   5083 τηρείν to give heed to 3588 την   1438 εαυτού his own 3933 παρθένον virgin, 2573 καλώς well 4160 ποιεί he does.   7:38   5620 ώστε So that 2532 και also 3588 ο the one 1547 εκγαμίζων giving in marriage, 2573 καλώς [²well 4160 ποιεί ¹does]; 3588-1161 ο δε and the one 3361 μη not 1547 εκγαμίζων giving in marriage, 2908 κρείσσον [²better 4160 ποιεί ¹does].   7:39   1135 γυνή A wife 1210 δέδεται is tied 3551 νόμω by law 1909-3745 εφ όσον for as long 5550 χρόνον a time 2198 ζη [²lives 3588 ο   435-1473 ανήρ αυτής ¹as her husband]; 1437-1161 εάν δε but if 2837 κοιμηθή [²should sleep 3588 ο   435-1473 ανήρ αυτής ¹her husband], 1658-1510.2.3 ελευθέρα εστίν she is free 3739 ω to whom 2309 θέλει she wants 1060 γαμηθήναι to marry, 3440 μόνον only 1722 εν in 2962 κυρίω the Lord.   7:40   3107-1161 μακαριωτέρα δε But more blessed 1510.2.3 εστιν is she 1437 εάν if 3779 ούτω so 3306 μείνη she should remain, 2596 κατά according to 3588 την   1699 εμήν my 1106 γνώμην opinion; 1380-1161 δοκώ δε but I think 2504 καγώ I also 4151 πνεύμα [²spirit 2316 θεού ³of God 2192 έχειν ¹have].
